Year 9 student Jacob Carter has decided to shave his hair off this Saturday to raise money for Cancer Research UK. This is something he has organised himself and feels he can do to support his Nana in her on-going battle. We wish him all the very best. His Just Giving page link is https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/ed-carter1
Thank you, this is brilliant!
...The first few days of this weeks Year 11 Cake Sales for Macmillan Cancer Trust has started well with nearly a sell out yesterday. Please keep your donations coming!
Well done to Year 9 student Matthew Harwood who is continuing his success last season, within the sport of Short Mat Bowls. Following his trial he qualified as a member of the England Under 21 squad, and at the weekend he played his first official match for them as they beat the England Ladies side in Solihull. He now has a busy winter playing for both the Kent County A team, and England Under 21’s finishing with England vs Wales in Carmarthen in March.

The school is currently experiencing problems with Show My Homework. The system has not updated to the new academic year. Unfortunately, Show My Homework is provided by an external company who are having their own problems. We are awaiting technical advice and will begin using the system as soon as is possible. In the meantime, pupils should continue to write homework details in their planners as is the normal school policy. If pupils or parents are requiring new login details it would be best to wait until the system is functioning normally again. We thank you for your patience in this matter and understand that it is frustrating for all.
